I have epilepsy and have had brain surgery twice. The Dr. says it is probably nerve damage.
I have been finding that I get them in stressful situations, I'm wondering if that could be when I would have a seizure, because that did happen before the operations.
They also said it could be from the venlafaxine I take for depression. I am a 45 year old male and this has been happening for some time.

Sensation / Feeling in right side of my Brain (25th November, 2016 | 13:45 hours IST | weather is normal (neither cold nor warm | not sunny) | Vidit | Male 25
----
Scenario/Situation:
I'm learning / coding Android program fom Udacity's Android Class. The project relates with Earthquake data app.
Its been about a month since I started this course and have completed 6/11 projects so far with rigorous study and also little odd schedule.

I felt some kind of sensation throughout the right side of my brain. Like a transfer of energy from the read_right side to the front_right side. The feeling is somewhat relative to chilling feeling coming up the spine. It occured couple of time may be ~5 times in matter of half a minute.

I get this too every so often. It feels like somebody is twirling my hair, and it seems to stop temporarily when I press on the area. I believe it's a side effect from my medication... however, since we are all sharing here, I happen to be on my period as well! :-D

I also are experiencing the tingling, crawling sensation in one spot on the right side of my head, more to the top. Feels like I have an insect crawling in my hair. I am in my early 60s so not menopausal for me. I have none of the symptoms others have spoken of although I do have neck problems and need to go to my osteopath.

I have had the same feeling as well. I am 62 years old. I have recently had issues with allergies and a new symptom has come up, one is dizzy when I turn my head to the side and the other is this tingling feeling on one side of my head. I had it checked out and this is a good possibility for allergies. Also when I get dehydrated I get these feelings. Usually when I have Wine the night before. However, I stopped the wine at dinner for a week and the head tingling was still there in the morning. Sometimes it feels like a hangover. I tried for one week to be hydrated and did not have that tingling feeling. Also when I take allergy pills I must hydrate myself. Thank God I have never had health issues before, so I am so much aware of every little thing that goes on in my body. I am convinced it's dehydration.

I hope this helps you ladies.

Probably yes, i get a few weird things happening, i have PCOS and i get these weird fits of arousal where i feel like i'm a cat in heat, i got PCOS from my mums side and chillblains from her too and i got my period the first time in a year and finished it 4 days ago, before my period i got chillblain red bumps on all of my toes on my left foot this month and i read chillblains can be hormonal and would explain a lot because my mum said she got them in her 20s too, i said irregular periods for 2 years before i started  to get zero, they were irregular from 24 years old and mum, her mother and sister all started to get irregular periods around 24 years old, things started getting worse for me around 17, it seems from ages 17 - 30 it's a really vulnerable age for the body because your body changes a lot, especially around 22 - 30. I also notice i get low sugar very easily too so i try to eat a bit of sugar every day and seems to help, chocolate seems to help the most but banana's seem to sometimes make me feel a bit shaky, cup of coffee then a bit later on some chocolate seems  to work wonders. Hormones can cause phantom sensation and so can low blood sugar, hormones can give you weird jabs around the ovarys too.

I've been experiencing the tingling and coldness in my head for the past few hours and my searches led me here. Your comment stuck out to me because I also have thalassemia and I've been told it's rare and not well researched yet. I thought maybe these symptoms had something to do with that.

I have had a tingling on the right side of my head and into my ear for about a year. I have found that if I look up or bend my neck just right it happens. If I look down or stretch my neck up it goes away. Mine seams to be from my neck. Thing is I'm also hypoglycemic. But it is my neck. Hope this helps
