Hello. I'm 37 year old female and I have some serious health problems. I've had migraines for 18 years. During the last couple of years I would get them almost daily.
I have used many anti-migraine medications for all these years but the thing is that somehow my body gets used on them. They are preventing my migraines for some time but then their efficacy is slowly decreasing. Please tell me what I should do.
I have heard a lot about this new drug called Topamax medicane.
Has anybody used it and is it same like all other or this is something new.

Hello. You don’t have to tell me anything about this migraine issue because I'm fighting a battle with them for almost 20 years. Believe me; you are not alone because almost every migraine patient has problems with these drugs. I have recently started using this new Topamax drug and I'm very satisfied with the effect. Like you know Topamax is being used for preventing migraines and partial seizures.
The capsule, if you break it, has bitter taste so I will recommend you to swallow it whole although it is quite big or the capsule may be opened and its contents sprinkled on a teaspoonful of soft food.
Of course, there are some side effects that could occur such as abdominal pain, abnormal coordination, abnormal vision, agitation, anxiety, appetite loss, back pain, breast pain.
