Oh, don't give up on ever eating normally and keeping it where it belongs. Go to a stomach specialist. Go to a neurologist if that fails.

I've researched on doctors. I do not have these symptoms thank goodness, but I'm trying to help. You might want to give Dr. Luiz Galvez a look. He is a gastroenterologist. He works in Atlanta Georgia.

I go to the same thing, and a gastroenterologist said that I have gastroparesis. Which means a lazy stomach or delayed emptying.

Hi,
I am healthy and I didn't think l had an eating disorder but sometimes my food will involuntarily come back up within 20min of eating. I just searched the internet and found this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rumination_syndrome. I think I might have Rumination syndrome.
I don't regurgitate all the time, but sometimes I will have bouts of it, and will never regurgitate if I eat a very small amount of food or in the mornings when I have breakfast. After reading the wiki article, I think the bouts may be stress related. Before this week, I had been fine, I had been digesting my food properly. However this week has been quite stressful and my food has been involuntarily coming up again.
I hope this helps someone. :-)

My regurgitation could be anything up to 6 hours after eating and I went and saw the top Professor of Gastro Intestinal problems in South Africa who eventually gave up and said that I had a mental problem.
I put all my symptoms into Google and "hey presto" there it was Gastro Paresis. I have a total paralysis of the stomach whereby food will remain in my stomach for up to 6 hours before eventually going into the small intestines. This does mean that one does not have total digestion of food as much of the breakdown takes place with the rolling motion of stomach.
I have managed to live with this disorder, but there are certain foods that I cannot eat. The cooked white of an egg. Fats or any type. I have to cut off all fat from any meat. I cannot eat any fruit whatsoever. The worse ones for regurgitation are the citrus family including pineapple, I cannot even eat a soft pear as it has to much fibre content.
There is an exceedingly good website in the USA that explains the problem. Do yourself a favour and Google it.
Just for the record, I have lived with this problem for close on 10 years now.

This is one of the "Proton Pump Inhibitors". This medication purely stops you producing acid in the stomach. It does not cure the regurgitation but stops the burning feeling as you no longer have acid pushing up into you oesophegus.

I have the same problem. I have been on drip after eating chicken after having left it in the car and in the sun for hours. After four days they tested my blood twice, did a gastroscopy test and was sent home. However, after 6 days from the episode I keep vomiting after eating anything. Doctors are blaming anxiety which I had prior to my latest university exams. Can someone help please?

I put this reply on another post, but another problem that I have with my digestion is called an esophageal Web. This is a restriction in the esophagas that can catch thick food that is not whetted enough with saliva such as french bread or toast. I can feel when this happens as it gives me a tremendous pain in the centre of my chest (solar plexus). The quickest relief is to away to the loo where I can quickly regurgitate the food but I can just wait with the pain for up to 5 minutes while I wait for it to slide past the obstruction. Drinking water does not help as the water just sits on the food caught by the web and just makes more for me to regurgitate. This regurgitation is not being sick as this is not stomach contents being brought back up.
I have had these stomach problems for nearly 10 years now and I still forget to chew food thoroughly and get caught out.

Please go to gym.. do exercises according to your body potential (do not do too much heavy exercises. just a regular exercise is enough ..you will realize the result gradually probably within a month).
These things are caused by worries, fear, stress, etc.. Pay attention to some sports..you will surely get relief from this.
