For the last few months it has burned and stung every time I urinate. I went to a doctor and they did a bunch of tests which showed I did not have a UTI (and bacteria did not grow in my urine) or an STD. It only hurts when I pee and then the rest of the time I feel fine. I even was put on antibiotics for over a week and it did nothing and my doctor said putting Aquaphor ointment on the area where the pee comes out might help, and it hasn't. I'm also taking a low dose birth control (generic Loestrin), and have been for a year. My vagina does not hurt, it is just the direct area where the pee comes out. Can anyone give me any kind of answer as to what's wrong? I can't remember the last time I peed and it didn't hurt.
