Well i was on birth control for about two years. I decided to stop taking it my boyfriend and i had unprotected sex about 5 days after i stopped taking my pill. how long after you stop taking the pill does it work? Or does it stop working the day you stop taking it>

It can depend on the woman, but it can stop fairly quickly. Some women can get pregnant just from skipping a day. Five days afterwards, there's probably a good chance.

hey there and yes after stopping the pill you can become pregnant..but every women is different and some can get pregnant right after you stop your first birth control and some women can take a month a few months just depends on the women and her body. So when was your last period? because you can test up to 5 day before...but sometimes coming off the pill will make you lose your period for a month or so or it will just start the next month...but it is up to your body.. But yes you can become pregnant. So use protection if you don't want a baby. and good luck to you.
