i am having a yellow - yellow green vaginal discharge for months (3 i guess) and it doesn't smell good. so i decided to undergo pap smear. the applicator turned bloody when my OB get the specimen and i felt pain when she palpated my cerix. she said that my cervix has lacerations and prescribed me with doxycycline 100mg twice a day for 10 days. then after a week, the result of my pap smear revealed that there is predominance of coccobacilli with shift in vaginal flora. also, there are abundant neutrophils and severe inflammation. then my OB prescribed another drug, which is neopenotran vaginal suppository every night for 5 days. after finishing the course of my antibiotic therapy, the discharge didn't go away. and it is still the same with a foul smell. what should I do?
