its been 3 moths. I have no BV, mo yeast, no STD, (got tested and no sex since because I am in pain and unable to have sex) I have herpes virus but no outbreaks for a year at least, use condoms (same for years - no allergy), same diet, same soap, everything the same as always. BUT this burning that started after an UTI 3 months ago never went away and after steroid creams and ointments burning added itch to my poor vulva and anal are. Not inside vagina, but outer entire area is on fire 24/7. Sitting is worse, warm water is worse, I use luke warm water mild baby soap or just baking soda dissolved in water, cotton underwear, no tampons, no dirty fingers is touching me! I have no smell or discharge, but I have THE MOST AWFUL BURNING that is driving me crazy. I cannot sit, sleep, benadryl is no help either, even antidepressants were prescribed to see if nerves are involved. 5 Doctors, 10 tests, 3 months of this....I am at the end of my rope. I almost lost a 2 year rel-p due to no sex, my miserable physical and emotional state. Even saw a comment about jock itch spray - did that too. No help.WOW. What the he..is thing. Burning turned into pain that shoots into anus and left labia mainora that feels twitchy and throbs. Who had similar or same problem dear ladies (I pitty any poor woman who actually had what I have). its been so bad.

I read up on this a year ago extensively since it affects me too.   I had been to four different doctors and four different specialties.  No std's in my history.      I tried changing toilet papers, soaps, laundry detergents, changed brands of underclothes etc.    The last visit i had (a year ago) was to a dermatologist who told me that he has a ton of patients that come in with this kind of pain with a bag in hand of every remedy they have tried, and gave it a general vaginal and anal diagnosis and i walked out with yet again MORE topical ointments.

After months of pain, i found a link to one of those cheap newsletter things that you buy online... seems like it was $5.99 (can't remember what or where right now but can look for it).   It gave steps to getting the pain under control initially.   While i have flare ups here and there (mostly now after some of my bowel movements), they are easily now controlled with a bit of hemmorhoid medication now and again and keeping it really clean and dry after every bathroom visit is all i need to do.

I have exactly the same thing! In the afternoon it gets worst from sitting! Many doctors have seen me and no answers! Now I am going to a psichologist I hope she will help. All my exams have come out well they sent me cortisone cream and estrogens since I am 68 years old. I have known that a person that has the same thing they are blocking some nerves with a anesthesiologist specialized in pain. But I have not gone there. Please let me know if you have found remedy to this terrible sensation!
