I have had sex with the same partner for about six months and nothing like this has happened before but after sex four days ago I started burning in my vagina area, then when I peed it really hurt, at first the pain was only during peeing and a little irritation when sitting directly on my vagina, and i checked my vagina and there were no bumps or blisters, however last night i noticed some and i feel like there are even more today, I've been to the regular doctor and he said it was probably just a UTI (he gave me antibiotics and im also taking AVO) but he didn't actually look or ask if I was sexually active. I'm affraid it might be herpes but I am not sure since the bumps didn't appear until about two days after the burning pain, I haven't been able to really whip down there because the pain is excruciating is it possible that I have gotten a rash since I haven't been able to dry my vagina and keep it clean well enough? I also have excessive discharge that has been beginning to smell.
