I have had this happen to me for several years now - I get itching, irritation, and lots of clear vaginal discharge from after ovilation until right before my period starts. I kept thinking I had a yeast infection, but I finally figured out all the discharge is irritating my privates. So I started wear pads/pantiliners whenver this starts. They soak up all the dischsrge and the problems stops within a day or so. I hate having to wear pads all the time - but worth to not itch and be sore! Give it a try, if you have the same wetness issues. :)

Glad to find that someone else goes through this! It definitely is not birth control because I am not on it. I get horrible PMS (acne around my chin, irrated quickly, horrible cramps, itching and a swelling vulva) I also have several uterine fibroids and suffer from enlarged cyst on my ovaries... (which is currently happening) Im wondering if it rupturing is why my vulva is so itchy.

A lot of this sounds like typical vaginal itching that is common before and after your period. Hormones.

i think it has to do with the hormone shift before your period.

It's common. Hormones are the culprit. Your pH balance gets thrown off, the body produces more glucose giving you yeast infection symptoms. It happens to me but an increase in your water intake before and during your cycle will surely help.
