Hi, I’m 22 years old female and few days I’ve noticed a few small lumps both in and around my vagina. At first I thought that it was nothing serious and that it will go away in day or two. But, it’s still there!! Now, I’m very worried.. Anybody here whou can help me?!

Well, even though you are understandably worried, I believe that you shouldn’t worry too much. There are really many reasons for lumps to form in vaginal area and almost all of these are harmless. After all, vaginal part of your body is naturally bumpy – there are natural ridges and curves there. On the other hand, lumps can be result of all sorts of benign cysts, viral warts or infected glands but they are all treatable. If you strongly believe that lumps are caused by any of those, I strongly suggest you to visit your gynecologist, just to be sure.

Depending where your lumps are at, it may just be an infected gland. I had one and it swelled and burst several times before I finally had it looked at and removed. It got so bad I couldn't sit down without pain. I would definitely check with your doctor, even if it is embarrassing.

iv had a lump on the lip of my vagina it has been there for a few months now i went to the doctors and the nurse said it could be an ingrowing hair but its a purply colour and she said if it doesnt go away within the next month come and see her again but im really worried because it makes me itch like mad down there and it has done for a while im to scared to tell any one because of what they might say also i wanted someone elses opion because it might be a wart or something its about the say size as a peanut and if i touch it hurts. please help me.

i get them all the time, and im constantly worried about it, i normally get them on my vagina but i did once get one on my breast, i showed that to my doctor and he said it was a boil , it looked nothing like a boil so i wasnt really satisfied with his answer but im guessing if it wasnt anything really serious he would have told me... hopefully *fingers crossed*

I suggest anyone who has anything show in their genital area they are concerned about to see your doctor and if not satisfied get a second opinion. There are many possibilities of what may cause such things, many of which are easily treatable, do not just go away just because a certain symptom subsides, and may get worse the longer you just let it go and worry.

I had several of them and they went away they where very painful and one of the errupted and left an open hole in my skin, Doctor told me it was a lymph node and since it left a hole that if it did not heal with in a month then I would have to have it removed.
I have this goign on for about 3 -4 months now

Hi Its Not Vaginal warts, warts dont itch, sounds like a syct. sont be inbarsssed it gould get really infected, So please go to your gyno or a dermatologyst. Hope this helped.
