My sister has also been diagnosed with Vasculatis Neuropathy.  She has lost the use of her hands and feet.  Dr. has put her on high dose of prednisone and cytoxin which have elevated her blood suger causing drug induced diabetes.  Her blood cell were so low she had to have 2 units of blood and the Cytoxin was discontinued.  Dr. is trying to lower the prednisone presently at 10mg.  Her hair has come out and she is basically an invalid.  She had Sjogrens with ovelap of some other autoimmune disease--lupus or scleroderma.  Are there any other treatments available for her conditions?
