Vomiting after hernia surgery

I had hernia surgery for a right inguinal hernia last Thursday. After coming too in the recovery room I vomited twice. I had the open surgery repair. After I vomited the pain didn't feel any different around the repair. The swelling in the scrotum scares me a bit, did I blow out the repair when I puked? The swelling in the scrotum feels like fluid, not like before the surgery when my guts where in the scrotum. I still think they should have given me gravel.
