Hello, good people. My friend has been diagnosed with tree nut allergy. I must admit that in fact I don’t know what tree nuts are. That is why I came here hoping to find some answers. Can anyone help me? I would really appreciate it. I hope answering to my post won’t bother you much.

Hi. Tree nuts are almonds, walnuts, pecans and cashews. Tree nut allergy can appear with people who are already allergic to peanuts. Peanuts are legumes, but nevertheless this cross-reaction is possible. Your friend should avoid these. They can give some serious reactions. They can even give anaphylactic shock.
