hi i am 18 years old and have been on birth control for about two years now. i recently started spotting and my period is still about two weeks away. i called the doctors and they r supposed to call me back but still havent yet. i took a pregnancy test but it came back negative. everyone says if i am then its probably too early for a home test to even see....what should i do? am i pregnant? should i stop taking birth control?

Hi there, you are unlikely to be pregnant. The spotting could be due to a number of factors but it's unlikely that it's pregnancy. I think you need to consult with a doctor and see about getting a blood test. What do you think?
