There was some discussion at my work today. A colleague of mine was talking about hers child sickness. I heard only a part of this conversation, but I was confused when I saw her after it. She had that frighten look on her face. I also heard that my colleague's daughter has lactose intolerance. What is lactose intolerance?

Lactose intolerance is a disease in which a person is not able to digested a significant amounts of lactose. In this condition there is a shortage of the enzyme lactose. This enzyme is produced by the cell of small intestine. Because of all this a person has stomach problems every time he/she eats milk or dairy product. Problem that occurs are gas, vomiting, nausea and diarrhea.
