My child was diagnosed with lactose intolerance. Both, my husband and me have no history of this condition in our families. That was the first thing doctor asked us. That gave me an idea that it might be inherited. But in our case it is not. What could have caused lactose intolerance in my child?

Hi, I had the same question last year. My daughter has lactose intolerance as well. Some find lady explained to me. Lactose intolerance mean that our children are not able to digest lactose (lactose is sugar found milk). Cause of this shortage of enzyme lactose. This enzyme is produced by small intestine disease or in premature born solution, since there is no cure.
