Hello, there. Landau-Kleffner syndrome (LKS) represents a childhood disorder. It is a gradual or sudden loss of ability to understand and use spoken language. The cause is unknown. There are cases in the families usually. These children have epileptic seizures. They usually come at night. I am not sure when it usually occurs, but as I’ve said, it appears in childhood. I hope this helps. Bye!
