Hi, folks. My friends' kid has some problems with speaking. I think his condition is also known as Landau-Kleffner syndrome. I am not sure what this syndrome is. What are the first signs of this syndrome? I would appreciate if anyone could tell me this. Thank you for all your advices.

Hi. Landau-Kleffner syndrome (LKS) is a rare childhood disorder. It is linked to disability to understand and use spoken language. It occurs to kids between 3 and 7 years old. Otherwise, they are normal. Usually, these kids have difficulties understanding what others have told them. This could be a first sign. This can progress slowly or rapidly. Your friends should visit a specialist. Sorry I don't know more details. Bye!
