I've been on the pill for 10 months, never missed any, always taken at the same time. On the 22 and 25th of December, we were fooling around in the shower so we didn't use a condom but I was still on the pills. There was no penetration either but I know you can get pregnant without that. My period was due to come on Jan 1st, and it did, started out real light and then got heavier, I'm still on it now (jan 5). I've read about implantation bleeding, but my periods have been lighter since being on the pill and last month it was the lightest yet, and this month was the same. I know I wasn't pregnant before the 25th because I took a test. But I had diarrhea for about 5 days right after the 25th, then again on the 1st. Last night (4th) I was running fever and my stomach was hurting. (My stomach, not cramps) This morning it still hurts and I don't feel like throwing up, I just don't want to eat. I'm wondering when I should take a pregnancy test?
The ONLY 2 days of the whole month that I did anything was the 22 and 25th. I'm on the pill so my period is always every 28 days, and it came this month right on time. Is it too early to take a test?

Hi Guest,
You can take a test now, your period is due.
But, you aren't pregnant. I can say that with almost 100% certainty. You had sex 9 and 6 days before your expected period. Even without the birth control you'd be unlikely to conceive. It was well past when you'd likely ovulate, usually days 11-16 of your cycle. The egg is only viable for about 48 hours.
There was also no penetration. Sperm would need to get INTO your vagina, not just near it.
Besides the above, you're on birth control. A side effect of BC Pills is that they can change your period.
Hope it helps.
