For the last week/2 weeks i've been experiencing common pregnancy symptoms. Fatigue, breast swelling, being a lot warmer than usual, stomach cramps, what i believe to be implantation bleeding, and most recently, nausea. I've bought a pregnancy test but i don't know when to take it?! I know you're supposed to take it on the first day of your missed period but i'm on the pill, does this confuse things? I know the odds of me being pregnant are low because of this but i have alot of problems with my pill, I bleed HEAVILY for months on end so i have cause to believe its not been working, however i've not bled in the last 6 weeks apart from these tiny amounts of watery pink blood i had around a week ago? And i know implantation bleeding usually comes around a week before a period is due, i'm on the 22nd pill in my packet so technically 6 days off my next period. i never took my break last month.. i have regular sex with my partner without condoms so if i'm pregnant i have no idea when i conceived? Ahhh! I know this is all very confusing, but if i only conceived in the last 22 days is it too early to take the test? Should i wait until my packet is finished? Or do all these symptoms mean i can test anytime? Any feedback would be much appreciated.

To be safe I would keep taking the pill until it is finished and if you don't get your period when it is expected this month (6 days) I would take the test just to be safe. It sounds like your having some signs of early pregnancy. Although, it is common for people just starting birth control or starting it again to have break-through-bleeding as your body gets accustomed to the pill again. Best bet is to wait see if you get your period and then take the test. Starting birth control again can also cause a delay in your period.

the pill shouldn't affect the test being able to read the amount of hgc in ur urine but they say its best to test first thing in the morn, i would go ahead and call ur doc.
