I was on the pill for about 7 months and just got off first week of feb 2013. My last normal period was Jan 15th I started with bad cramping and some bleeding that was on and off for about a week which started Jan 30th-Feb6th went to docs took test was not pregnant and said it was breakthrough bleeding. My husband and I decided we would start trying for a child i stopped my BC pill Feb 3rd, 2013 I have not gotten a period since. As we have been trying is there a chance I could be pregnant? I have some nausea throughout the day but mostly at night before bed, breast are very sore but I also started working out again about a week ago so am wondering if it could be from that. Any ideas??

There is always a chance of pregnancy if your having unprotected sex. With so many different variables the possibilities are endless of what it could be. It is possible to get pregnant right after going off of birth control but some times your body needs to adjust from the birth control so while your hormones are leveling out you could experience pregnancy like symptoms of nausea, tender and sore breast, vomiting, heartburn, etc. Wait a couple weeks around March 15th and if no period comes take a pregnancy test. Make sure to take the test in the morning with your first urine of the day. By doing this the hcg levels will concentrate over night causing the pregnancy test to read more accurately. Good Luck
