Brown discharge may be old blood left over from your last period, or from previous trauma to the vagina or uterus.

I get this. Iv had it for the last few years. Im under a specialist an recently iv had a DnC. Its not helped.
But you say it could be old blood left over.
I bleed every 2 weeks. Well spot brown rubbish. This goes on for (well this time its been 9 days). Than i bleed proporly, but only for 3 days. Then i spot again for another 4/5 days.
Do you think its left over blood? An in my 3 days its not all coming away?
I now you cant say for sure. But can this be my problem.
This sounds horrible i no, but if i have sex when im spotting days i bleed alot during an then the spotting stops an i have my normal 3 day bleed.
You have got me thinking now!!!
What do you think
Thanks

Carolel,
Incomplete voiding of menstrual blood may be due to unusual anatomy of the uterus, allowing some of the blood to get "trapped" inside. The DnC procedure by its very nature has its own risks, including tearing of the cervix, scarring or even puncture of the uterus. While the procedure may help some women, it can make it worse for others. Uterine contraction as a result of sexual intercourse leading to orgasm can, theoretically, expell such trapped blood. Perhaps having lots of orgasm may be a solution of this problem. This is just my wild guess.
