It doesn’t necessarily means that you don’t ovulate and produce fertile eggs, but it definitely does lower your chances. I think that the best thing you could do is to go and visit a gyno and do the complete checkup to find out what is the original reason for your periods to be so rare and then you will have the actual chance of getting things back to normal. There are hormonal treatments to jump-start your ovulation and rise your fertility, but you need to find the original problem first.
