Hi, I am new to this site but I have read through alot of the w/d posts. I have been prescribed percocet 10mgs for the past few yrs due to the long list of health issues i have..( which include 2 back surgeries, ddd, an auto immune disorder that caused severe nerve dmg in feet and legs) I was prescribed 1 every 3hrs but last month the pharmacy would not fill them the way they were written (dea reg in fl requires 180 cap off amount from what i was told) that being said I went back to the dr and had to get them written 1 every 4 hrs and ultram for breakthrough. I never filled the ultram since i was planning to bite the bullet and try to get by with less meds. ofc that didnt happen... I wound up taking them like i did before since i had family from out of town down for a visit for 3wks and wanted to be comfortable and enjoy my time with them.. I was just plain stupid. now i have nearly a week to go before my appt and I have 4 percs and a script for ultram 50mg. I really cant go through severe w/ds since i have heart problems as well, so my question is will the ultram keep the w/d at bay and help with some of the pain? I really didnt want to take the ultram at all but if it helps for the mean time that would be wonderful!! Pls help
