women with scolosis and baby

So I am responding as I have an autoimmune disease and a daughter.  My husband has no diseases so obviously the chance is there that she may get this passed down to her - man gives 13 chromosomes and so does a lady thus the chance is half and half.  In your case this is the same too, if your husband doesn't have scoliosis then your baby may not either.  I believe if you are concerned that your doctor can test for this?

does your daughter have the disease! my boyfriend dosent have the disease but saying that i dont tink mine is genetic im the only 1 in the family that suffered from scolosis! thanks for the advice! and i will be back to let ye no how everything goes 1st scan 21st may!

So far my daughter is OK but we are going to check her when she is old enough. Mine is genetic but I am the only one in my family with this is as well (thank god) so we are not sure where and which side of the family it may have come from. Good luck with your scan. Are you finding the sex of the baby out? BTW, I still have a picture of a scan done at 32 weeks framed of my daughter in the living room.
