Hi! Are there any genetic hobbyists on this forum? If so, I'd like your opinion. My husband and I are expecting our first baby together, and we just found out that she will be a girl. My husband has wonderful loose curls, though he cuts his hair fairly short now so I don't see much of them. His sister has straight hair, and his mom has got the loose curls too. On my side of the family, nobody really has curls at all. What are the chances that our baby will inherit the loose curls?

well it depends if the genetic ratio. If the loose curls as you say are a dominate trait of not. By the sounds of it they're not. But if the father has them then there is a good chance. chromosomes are tricky lol. I would say it's a 50/50 or 60/40 chance of the curls being the style of your child's hair.
