Working after successfull cervical disectomy

Hi Martin, I hope that you are doing well. Yes, there are successful people who are out there back working again like for example my good friend from high school who had to have this surgery done. She did have an intense recovery period and I know that she had to work very hard at it but she did okay, and I think that she's back working and feels pretty normal at this point. Are you anxious about the surgery? I totally understand that! I hope that you're doing well and keep us posted on how the surgery goes.

Ive just had C3/C4 done on Tuesday, i will keep you posted, less than a week after though, my back tension has eased but muscles soreness at neck incision is pretty severe

how are you doing? I hope that you will recover soon. Keep in mind that the effects of the surgery will last some time. I am 6 weeks postop and still feel stiff in my neck have some nausea in the morning and not much energy to do things.
Another good suggestion is: dont look to much on this website! A lot of people here (not all) have problems. But most people that had surgery are not on this site. They continue their lives (or lifes?)with complaints and are in good health again. If you read to much here you will think that you are not ok as you recognize some of the problems people have here!
Try to find successfull stories! That is difficult for the reasons I mentioned. Success with you recovery. I can understand how you feel shortly after surgery.
