Hello, I dont know if i have anxiety or hypochondria, but i worry about everything all the time. I also stress about my health. I got a rash recently (probably an anxiety rash) and i got really worried about it. I had a vein on my testicle which i thought was a varicose (which turned out to be nothing) every little thing that happens i dwell on it and worry about it. before it was my grades, when i started getting good grades i worried about my health. My mother calls me a worry wart. Oh i also had warts, and i worried and dwelled about those until i got rid of them. PLEASE HELP ME. Im not going to go to therapy or buy drugs to help it. I also tried valerian root at GNC. PLEASE I JUST WANT TO BE CONSISTENTLY HAPPY AND WORRY FREE. I cant imagine how great life would be if i could just see a red spot on my skin and not have to go research it and call the advice nurse. Or get a bad grade or get a sitation without getting clammy hands and fearing the consequences. Im a 14 year old male and in high school. Right now im currently dwelling on how my urine is clear even though i drink soda and not water and how liquid secreets out of my penis. WHY THE f**k AM I WORRYING ABOUT THIS

Hello Worriedguy01,

Goodness, you have anxiety big time.  I see you have tried nautral supplements (valerian root) which can help.  You might consider taking GABA supplements.  GABA is the major inhibitory neurotransmitter in the brain.  Some people say it works great and its cheap and apparently no side effects tha I know of.  It calms you down.  I'm not sure whether you have genetic complications and/or learned bad behavior.  Nevertheless, some of it appears to be learned behavior from what little I can gather from what you've written in your post.  This cals for behavioral modication and that generally calls for therapy.  You seem adament about not going to therapy.  I think you need to reconsider.  There are certain things that are triggering your anxiety and a therapists can identify those for you.  Then you need to avoid those triggers.  Please reconsider seeing a therapist.
