OK. I'm 19 years old. I usually have irregular cycles, so i got on Birth Control my sophomore year of high school. (September 2009). I recently went off of it, May/June-ish of 2012, just because i couldnt keep up with taking the pill everyday. I had my next period (first one off the pill) around the same time i would have if i were still on the pill. (I do have a boyfriend, and were are sexually active. We use protection every single time. But i was always worried about pregnancy.) This past month, August 2012, I unfortunately never got my period. Of course pregnancy was my first thought. I started to panic.. and so i took two tests, that both came back negative. Its now September 4th and i still havent had that glorious meeting with "Aunt Flow".. and i'm still worried. :-)

Would going off of my birth control cause my periods to act up? Or my stressing over not having my period, have caused me to not have my period at all? Or is pregnancy not completely ruled out??

UGH! Please help me!

I had the same problem you do. Mine was just because my body was confused from not taking the pill anymore. You got your first one normally when you quite taking the pill because the pill was still in your system. I wouldn't worry about being pregnant because of the fact that you just got off the pill and you always use protection. If you don't get your period for another two months then I would start worrieing and go see a doctor.
