I’ve heard about drug called zeboxin, but am not sure that this is right name. It is used in treatment of opiate dependence. How can this drug be bought? What is the difference between zeboxin and methadone? I had certain problems after injury of hand and used opiate pain killers because nothing else worked. Please post if you know anything about zeboxin. Thanks.

It is actually suboxine, drug that is used in treatment of dependence caused by opioids.
It contains buprenorphine which can reduce symptoms of dependence. Methadone is used on specialized clinics and in addiction treatment centres and subotex is the first drug available under the Drug Abuse Treatment Act. It can be prescribed at the doctor’s office. There is also another similar drug called subutex which contains the same active substance like suboxine and additional ingredient naloxon.
