I have been having 2 periods a month since 1998. I usually get my regular period - which lasts about 5 days and then a week after my period leaves, I get a terrible headache, nausea and weakness, which is followed by 2 days of a mucus, bloody mixture. It is miserable. I also bleed after intercourse - about a day or so afterwards. I have had tests done and been to 3 doctors and have been told that is normal among a small percentage of women.

I have also been tested for HIV, chlamydia, herpes, etc. and have come back clean. This is irritating as I only have about a week of relief a month. I am also anemic so I am not sure if this also plays a factor in this whole mess. One doctor put me on depo, which was horrible. I bled for 6 months straight (light spotting) and then I hemorrhaged for 2 weeks when I stopped taking the shot.

Someone please tell me what the deal is, because I am frustrated:(
