Hi honey! IF the planb had failed you would have definitely shown on a test by now! It is funny because on the Plan B website they say that interupted periods are not common! BUT virtually everyone that has been on this site - and taken Plan B - has the EXACT same symptoms! So I think this was your period, and also IF you were worried, then the stress can actually cause a delay too! Your period should have regulated by now - but you just never know with our bodies! So I am 99% sure you are not pregnant - as long as 6 weeks ago was the only time you had unprotected sex! So just relax and keep an eye out for next months cycle - should be all balanced out by then for sure! IF not then I want you to go to the doctor - just to have a check up! Good luck honey!

And I also used condoms throughout the month of April when I had sex quite a few times and none of them broke except for the one 4 days before my period was due back in April when I took plan B. And he didn't even ejaculate yet when it broke. so i really hope Plan B has messed up my cycle and it'll be back on track next month...

From what you just said it is even less likely that you are pregnant! You were right to play it safe! It is so weird that SO many women have wonky periods after but they don't mention this on the website - I wonder if it is because most women don't phone them to let them know! Perhaps a good thing in the future would be to have your partner pull out and ejaculate into the condom - so it will increase the effectiveness of the condom! You might have an early period - but I don't think so! But like I said IF it doesn't happen, then you need to go and get checked by your doctor! Have your periods ever been wonky before?

no they are pretty normal--28 day cycle. but yesterday it became heavy again and this morning there was just a little dark brown blood. usually by the 4th day (today) it does become bit lighter anyways.

Dark brown is old blood! So don't worry honey - you are NOT pregnant! Just a wonky period! You have to remember that IF you have spotting or a light period for a day or two, this WILL cut down on the thickness of the lining that will be expelled at a later date! think of it like a water balloon, it is filled and then you let some of the water go, so when you finally throw it, it WILL be less water! Does that make sense? So it's the same for your uterine lining! Your fine honey honest! You did EVERYTHING right!
