I used be college basketball player so I was always in great shape. I never drink alcohol but I drink a lot of caffeine daily(about 3 redbull)

After severe ankle injury and car accident about an year ago I just became completely different person. I started smoking a lot I lost a lot

of muscles that i used to be proud of. My doctor think I damaged nerve... I'm still not sure but didn't take MRI early stage(which was

big mistake).

Anyway....

I've taking vicodin ES 7.5 4~5 pills a day and 2 clozenapem 0.5 mg per day and just one lexapro 10 mg a day for about 6 month.

There was a time I tried to quit cold turkey on vicodin and I actually were off for about a month and I relapsed.

I don't think I've ever abused it but without it... it's pretty hard to handle all the stress and pains for the day.

I have gradually decreased vicodin to 1/2 pill now... I think I'm good to go on this since I have experience and I know what to expect.

But if I quit other two medication at the same time... Would it really damage my nerve somehow??

I think I'm feeling opiate withdrawal rightnow since I've only took half pill(3.75mg) 12 hours ago today...

some physician recommended quiting clozenapem first before vicodin... and I hear all the story from lexapro withdrawals...

I know it's not high dosage but I'm enough with depression and I want to get back on track

any advice?

Hi there i dont know how old these posts are so probably the advice im going to give you you may not need but first of all it always annoys me when the doctor just gives out highly addicted perscribed medication esp to people like your self who at one time was a basketball player etc.First of all you can remember that person right, well you can get back to him.First of all how long can you go without these pills, are you addicted chances are yes,so go back to your doctor and explain you want to come off these pills and work out together a way of getting back to the person you were, the pills your on will be your down fall being on them for only 6 months is good some people have been on them for years. You will go through some withdrawl but being the person you are i think you can get through it do it now other wise your going to be on them for the rest of your life or to when ever honestly mate i wish you well.
