26 days post hemorrhoidectomy

Well we haven't heard from Lisa in a long time, I hope that she is doing fine. I hope that she just didn't hooked up her computer yet.

Skysquid, have you called your doctor? Just try to stay positive, even I know it is not an easy thing to do right now. But hang in there.

My doctor is away til Tuesday but the nurse assured me that losing all my stitches is normal as well as the pus. It just.. looks lke an open wound to me. Guess it will have to heal from the inside out. I just worry that it will be so scarred that it will rip some day eventually and I will have to deal with fissures like poor Lisa.

I've read that thread and most of the others when I am bored. I also read PoopReport a lot. Stories about poop disasters just amuse me right now.. lol

Dawn? Wendy? DR. Red? A new comer? Hello to you all... Ok, well my mother's computer had crashed, so we've had no computer for awhile. To keep you updated, I had to go to the rectal surgeon, this past Thursday and I have decided to have the botox injections... My appt. is scheduled for Nov. 18th but they may have a cancellation this Wed. (Nov. 11th). My fissure is not getting better (the second one) and I'm in a lot of pain, so having this botox will be less stressful than if I were to have another fissurectomy (like with my first one in July), which they now call it a sphinterectomy now? So hopefully this will help me heal. I will not have to be asleep and the risks are not as high as if I were to have the fissurectomy... but if this does not work, I'll have no choice... He says 80% of his patients heal with this botox. So we will see huh? Ha ha.. We all here know how I am with percentages... LOL 8-| It will paralyize the muscles down there to help me have BM's without being in so much pain, and hopefully will allow myself to heal this time.... I will however in time, will have to go under again to have my skin tags removed... but right now, I need to just focuse on the problem that causes me so much pain, which is the fissure... This surgeon seems to have a lot more compassion than the other one I had. So please keep me in your prayers! I'm nervous but this seems less risky right now for me... so I'm going to go for it! I asked the doc if he could practice on my face first with the botox but I don't think he got my sense of humor... Ha ha ha ha XD I miss all of you and I still pray for all of you!!!! I hope the botox injections help you heal! I'm sorry to hear you will need surgery for the skin tags but it shouldn't be as bad as having the roids removed.

I seem to have PTSD when it comes to having a BM, lol. It doesn't even hurt much anymore but I still have a hard time letting myself go. I think my wound should be closed by next Sunday (I hope) and I hope I am all healed up by December. I have an itty bitty skin tag I kind of want gone but.. I want the wound cauterized or a laser used so I don't have to go through the horror of stitches coming out again. That and I read skin tags can come back? I need to focus on getting rid of this itty bitty external roid I've had blooming on my anus for a long time now first though.

Lisa! Oh my Gosh, so great to hear from you! I'm happy you are going to get the botox done. I really, really hope it works. I wouldn't really worry too much about the tags at this point. I would give them plenty of time to shrink, After you're healed. My tag shrunk to the point that it doesn't really bother me. My doctor told me the choice was mine and that I don't Have to have them removed if I don't want to cuz they're harmless. After going through the healing process of the hemmoriodectomy, I don't want to have my butt touched again! So unless they cause me problems, I'm leaving them alone.
How is everything going with your husbands job? Does he like his job? How are the kiddos doing? Did you get everything moved out of the other house and my last question is are you getting rest? Let us know how it goes on Wed, I will pray for you!

Bambi, I was going to get on with things cuz every time I got on this site, I wouldn't get anything else done! I'm fairly certain I have an attention problem! But I missed everyone so much that I had to take a peek!Anyways, next week I'm signing back up for college which will start in Jan. I will probably take just two classes, but that's enough when you're a mom with a daughter that will probably be the basketball captain during that time, a husband whom you help with his business and he's starting up one to two more businesses, and I still have to finish a job I'm doing at my parents business as well before I start.

I'm also currently taking a stock class, and have joined a gym. Still taking veganique, but have not been as diligent and need to be. I still don't know if I'm permently in menopause, it seems like I'm ovulating. I'm still taking horomone therapy replacement, though, so I don't know. I will go off this therapy in about a month and then do a wait and see game.
How r you doing? What r they going to do to help you with your illness? How is your son doing? It looks like our president is still working hard on our health care reform, which would be great for my hubby. He has a 5,000.00 deductable! So because of that, he harldy ever goes in to the doc for even check ups. Yet he still keeps paying those premiums!

Skysquid, I'm happy it doesn't hurt anymore! That is wonderful! Please give the tags time to shrink and then see if they bother you, K?

Dark Red, haven't played paintball lately and my bruises from it are all healed! I AM, however, playing raquetball like I used to before I had these health issues! I LOVE raquetball! I'm not half bad at it either. I have a wicked serve and playing off the back wall is not a problem!

Wendy - Holy Cow!!! you must be feeling better doing all of this and more!!! I'm going to my doctor tommorrow - not pleased about the stitch sticking out of mt head - I dont know wether to put mascara on it, or highlight it!!!! LOL XD o.O 8-| Like my girlfriends said "you think they would throw in some botox just to equal out the scars!!! ;-) Anyway, I'm still glad they didn't put some part of my bum up there! Knowing my luck, it would be my luck that I would get hemis on that part!!!!! XD Much hugs and health and luck to all especially Lisa - let us know how you make out honey!

Lisa it is so nice to hear from you again. Well if doc is convinced that the botox will help you, I think you should listen to him, he doesn't seam like you last doctor. I just remembered the letter you wrote. :-) When will you install your computer?
Wendy, I never played racquetball. I'm think I wouldn't be very good at it at all. :-) It's just doesn't seam like my thing to do. :-)
I have to tell you, hear that you got all good and that you are doing all this physical activities makes me very happy.

Well I have good news and bad news - "Strativarius" - my stitch - fell out!!! May he rest in peace!!! ;-)

My doctor found 6 new lesions on my face!!!! So she took biopsies of all, so I have my 3 scars, and 6 round little bandaids! All I can say is "LOOKING GOOD!!!!!!" ;-) XD o.O %-) I tell ya!!!! I'm sure people think I'm confused about the dates, that I think November 11th is Haloween!!!

Lisa! If they don't use the entire ampule of Botox on your bum, can you send me the remainder!!!!? I don't mind doing my own you know? I checked out Ebay for it, but I don't want to end up looking like I've kissed a fire pit - or that Lisa Rheni woman after she had too many injections!!!

I was watching Oprah and Ellen Degeneres was on, she's had some work done on her face, but her neck looked like a Turkey's!!!! Now I LOVE Ellen, but I can't stop looking at her neck!!! ;-) XD Why can't they just pull everything back and attach it with hooks! If you think that if they had a spot right underneath your hairline at the back of your head, they can pull ALL the skin up and back and have 1 big knot of skin at the back!!! We would have lineless faces, unwabily necks, no fat flaps for stomachs, our breasts would be lifted - not to mention seperated!!! Granted it would be difficult to get a good neck rub, but still wouldn't it ALL be worth it?!!!! ;-) XD XD

THANK GOD for my marijuana cookies!!!! They contain Omega 3's as well, so I'm happy and have glowing skin - around the stitches!!!! LOL :-P XD XD XD

Dawn, so sorry to hear that ur doc found six more lesions. Wow, I can't believe what a positive attitude you keep in the face of such news! You are so much stronger than I would be!

My hubby is in Hawaii(without me >:( ), so I went to a craft show. Ilove caft shows. So I'm in the middle of having fun and he sends me pictures of his beautiful view he has out his hotel window >:( . I told him to............... >;) .............enjoy it! Ha, you thought I was going to say something else? XD

He said something to me yesterday that I thought was really cute. He said if we want to live happily ever after, all we have to do is try to be happy every day, and when we look back, we will have lived a happy life! :-D :-D

Dawn, you seem to know how to do this.........Bravo girlfriend, I admire you! :-D

5 years ago we had the vacation of a lifetime, we were able to go to England and France for FREE!! Through Airmiles!!! It was unbelievable! Anyway of course when in France we HAD to go to Paris! So we walked around ALL day seeing the Louvre, taking a tour of the Seine and seeing the Eiffel Tower - and going up it! It was beautiful and stunning. So we were exhausted and I was in a lot of pain, so I needed to go back to our hotel room and take my pain killers, we could see the Eiffel Tower from our balcony and my husband said "I am just taking the boys to the end of the block to see the Tower with the lights on" So I said "While your gone I will fill out post cards for everyone" So after awhile had gone by, I was quite LOOPED and my sons doctor and my girlfriends have kept the "Interestingly written Post Cards"!!! So anyway, I was sitting there ALONE in my hotel room, thinking "Boy either I'm really stoned or they've been gone a REALLY long time!" Then they returned and you will never guess what they did?!!! They took a night time cruise down the Seine WITHOUT ME!!!!!!!!!!! :cry: The most Romantic City, and the most Romantic thing to do while in the city and NADA!!!! So there's all these pictures of the boys looking at the City of Lights and the beautiful Eiffel Tower all lit up! And I'm alone in a room! They said that it was the last boat and didn't have time to come back and get me, and only had 20 Euros and that was just enough for the 3 of them!!!!!!!!!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!!!!!

Then that Christmas, my husband bought me a Potato Sac (Berber) Car Seat Cover! And a Cher DVD!!!!!!!! So I wasn't too happy about the lack of thought - it was Potato Sac not even Faux Fur!!!! And I told him, so he said "Well it's not always what you want it's what you need!" I replied "Well next year cherub, you are getting a back wax and a Ear hair clipper! Merry %&^&)*% Christmas!!!!!!!!! It was alovely day!!!! A Few weeks later, my closest girlfriend and I were going shopping, we went into this little lengerie boutique and she said "Look at my skin tone Dawn, can you believe that Dan bought me a peach Silk Lingerie set?!!!!!" :( I looked at her and shouted "BERBER CAR SEAT COVER!!!!!!!!!!" She shut up!!!

So next time your husbands do something, think of me!!! And DR these are points you should write down and NOT repeat! Along with CALLING ME DOWN!!!!!!! You know it's in your head now, so you cant help it!!!! LOL

Anyway love and hugs to all! I can't wait to have a shower!! Even my dogs are licking me constantly!!!

I still remember that summer day of hiking by the lake when it all began. I needed to use the restroom badly. Afterwards, I felt quite a sharp pain down there .... I took a look naturally and there was a large amount of bleeding that had occurred. :$
