Hi guys... Well we just went and got the U Haul truck... I have tears in my eyes... We've been so busy this week and my poor butt is hurting so badly...My hubby does most the work but I have to pack clothes, kids toys, cosmetics, etc.... I still bleed during BM's and I'm swollen down there.. It looks like new hemis... Who knows? I'm so stressed and tired of pain in my butt... >:( My hubby starts his job Monday and we are moving tomorrow and well getting things into U Haul truck today (as much as I can do)... I'll have to take a pain pill later, I'm sure.... So Dr. Red, you want to come help me move? ? You seem like the only one that is healthy right now.. LOL... and has the muscles.... My poor gals, Wendy and her poor sore butt and Dawn and poor health problems.. We are all a HOT mess aren't we? I won't have a computer for a few days, so today is the last day I'll have it on... (Maybe I can sneak into mom's office and use her computer).. Ha ha.. She won't care... I need my cyber buddies!! I am praying for all of you... Dawn? I'm so sorry to hear about your health.. what is it the doc says you have again? I'm sure you mentioned it... Rare case huh? That sucks... thats like my doctor telling me I'm the 2% case and other people heal quicker... blah blah.. right? I get so disgusted anymore... I know you are probably aggrevated... and I'm praying for you! I'm glad the wedding was nice and you looked HOT! Wish we could see some pics... Wendy? Dr. Red, how r you? I'm doing fairly well. I still am having trouble with fatigue though. Thankyou for asking! I had some wine tonight and dressed up to go out to the town with hubby and ended up comming home and throwing up! I feel so stupid! I wasn't even out that long! Oh, well. He loves me anywho.

Lisa, time to get a second opinion as soon as you can. You should be doing better than this. I'm sorry you are so sad with your move and all, but amazingly, you still seem positive. I'm proud of you, you are a lot stronger than you give yourself credit for.

Dawn, are you figuring out anything about your past history that has helped?

Well Lisa off course I will come and help with moving. (Only if I am closer :-) ). I really would like to help you with all that moving, because all this time you seam like a real nice person that one can proudly say this is my friend. When you settle down and get all things in a place, go and have a check up with new doctor.

Wendy, sorry for the bad night. But at least you tried. Maybe you should just try it a little easier next time. Just keep up the good work and you will be there in no time. :-)

Hi Dr. Red, Wendy, and Dawn, my favorite cyber friends... Just wanted to let you know what is going on with me.. Ok, my second surgery was on July 15th right? Well had a extremely bad episode yesterday.. I'm very swollen down there (butt), and during the BM it was very painful and the toliet was full of blood... I had myself, husband and mom look down there (TMI, I know) and I was crying.... :'( My mom and my husband told me I definently need to go see another Board certified rectal surgeon. This is not normal... It was so much pain and blood like before I had my 2nd surgery (Fissurectomy).... I'm so scared at this point in time.... I pray but I'm tired of complaining of my ass hurting all the time... Ooops, sorry... hope I don't get in trouble for saying that? Just feels like passing glass... I mean I have a friend and she's had a hemorrhoidectomy twice in her life and she said she was back to work in 2 weeks.. I've been down since May 19th (1st surgery)... then July 15 (2nd surgery)... I mean what would be causing the swollen tissue, blood and pain? More hemis? I still take stool softners and tonight my mom bought me some citracel tablets... I have not taken any yet but I have tried the powder kind and it gets to thick to fast and I can't drink it that quickly... so she mentioned that they made tablets.... Hopefully it will help? I mean I'm not depressed but I'm just worried and nervous and aggrivated! >:( Sorry if I'm depressing you guys about this all the time... but you all have been here for me since day one! I hope all of you are doing ok? Love you all... Lots of hugs to you ;-)

Dr. Red... My buddy and friend from the start... How have you been lately? Wow, I sure could of used you to move... Ha ha.. Maybe thats why I'm swollen and bleeding? Been over doing it a lot lately... Now that my husband works, I have a lot to do with taking and picking kids up from school, trying to unpack little by little everyday and I've been going to bed around 3:30am and having to get up at 6am to get kids ready for school... My mom's been trying to help me out as much as she can but she works from home (on the computer all day), and she lets me lay back down around 9am until I have to get my youngest from school at 11:00am.. and today, she went and got her for me... thank goodness for my mommy... :-D Yes I'm pushing 40 but I am a only child and I need her! May I ask where you live? If you would not rather say, it won't hurt my feelings any... LOL Don't worry, I'm not a stalker... Ha ha... was just wondering? Ohhh 3lk it really is sad to hear that you still have problems. And they both are right you need to see another doctor. And this has to be as soon as possible. Don't delay things if you really don't have to. This is really lasting too long. You should be healed by now. And there is a big possibility that you have worked your self over these past few days. It doesn't mater if you are in your 40's, the main thing is that your mother is there for you. Nothing else.
And one more thing, you need to get good night sleep. You are not doing your self a favor. Skip one day of unpacking and just lay at 10PM if you need to, but have a good night sleep.

Dr. Red.. Hi there... thank you so much for your concern... I feel like you are part of my family! You always seem to care so much... even if its my rear end... LOL... I had another BM with a lot of blood and I'm in a lot of pain... Just did sitz bath and took my percs and a xanax... My husband and I have to go online sometime over the weekend and decide which benefits we want to take.. then I'll try to get in a different surgeon ASAP... Hopefully this one will be kind and be patient and be very experienced as well... Oh and lets pray they take new patients... Do I need a referral? I did not need one from the rectal surgeon I had... And believe me, he was always packed with patients in his office.... I generally prefer a man doctor... Don't ask me why? I just do... My family doc and OBGYN is a man... and I love them... I've seen women in the past, some were good, some were so so.... I just want someone that knows what they are doing and will listen to me and in all my concerns... I truly don't want another surgery... I've been probed at, cut into, etc. down there... I really don't want to go through no more surgeries but if it will make me well, then I'm all for it I guess.... Just feel like my poor body could not take another surgery right now.... Having the colonoscopy the nite before my 1st surgery, messed me up, then 2 surgeries later, I'm a hot mess! I should of just left myself alone... I say, if your hemis aren't hanging to your knees, than let it be... Ha ha.. XD Well its a few minutes after 10pm, so I'm going to listen to my big brother (you) ;-) and try to go lay down.... Well, you still have your humor and that is good. Well I'm probably younger brother. So I'm glad that you have listened to me and went to bed earlier because it seamed to me that you really needed that. Well see about new doctor as soon as possible. It is for your own good. Dr. Red... Well I called and made a appointment for tomorrow (Sept 24) for new surgeon early in the morning. I told her I was bleeding again and have lots of pain and at first she said I could come in next Tues. but then she thought about it, and said since I'm bleeding, I should be seen ASAP, so I'm going in tomorrow.. I'm taking my mother along with me this time. She paid online somehow to get reports about him. So everything seems ok... but you never know huh? LOL.... There were no law suits or malpractice against him ( very good news). He's been doing this for 23 years. I just hope that this Doctor is able to see what is the problem and has compassion. but last nite after 3 bad episodes, I'm convinced I gave myself another fissure, because the pain was the same and excrucating (sp) with lots of blood... I'm still taking stool softners, fiber tablets, and eating fiber, drinking my decaf tea... and Yes Sitz baths.... Tucks, etc... all this since May... I'm just very weak, maybe I'm a little anemic? So thanks again for all your concerns... I'm glad you are able to ride your bike and enjoy the outdoors and get the exercise... Ok, lil brother, I hope you are doing ok? Hugs to you... ;-)

Hi Dr. Red... Well its not good news! Of course not right? I have another fissure (in a different spot) which is causing all the bleeding and pain, plus I developed skin tags (which I'm not worried about right now)... As for the fissure, he said he wanted to do a surgery on it but its a botox injection and I would be totally asleep.... I"ve never heard of this before?? But he must do it often. The only bad side effect would be that I'd be incontient for awhile or it could be permanent... so I'm not in any hurry to get this done. I want to allow my body to try to heal on its own before I go and have a 3rd surgery! I'll give it 3-4 weeks and if I'm still in this much pain with bleeding, I guess I have no choice in the matter huh? I guess what this surgery does is, kinda numbs the sphinter muscle (paralizes) it and will help when I have BM's.... He said that the other surgeon must of done a sphinterectomy, not a fissurectomy? Who knows? I'm so confused but he said the hemorrhoidectomy looked healed and he didn't see the fissure on the right side where I had my surgery on my fissure from before but I did develop a new one... I knew I did... the same pain, bleeding, clots, weak.... My mom said I looked so pale and a grayish color the other day when I bled all day long with my BM's... Well I'm going to let you go for now.. Thanks for caring about me... I am getting depressed again... I just can't get well... Just nervous thats all... Hugs to you lil bro.. :-D

Lisa! So glad you got seen!!!!!! Are you anemic? Another fissure, what a bummer, but at least you know! Geez, its been a long haul, huh? You poor girl! Please get yourself some b-12 for energy, in liquid form. It's not that much money at health food stores and you need the energy and lots of water and SLEEP! (As Dr. Red says)

I've been preoccupied lately with hot flashes and I never got my period. I found out that although premature menopause was a risk of my uterine artery embolization surgury, its basically unheard of for someone under 45. I must be the exception? I'm saying this to you, because I would like you to really, really check out everything you can about the possible risks of this botox treatment before going through with it. Educate yourself with as many studies as you can find about it. You may be better off doing the traditional way, if it carries less risk.

Lisa, I'm too young to go through menopause. I just turned 42. If I could go back and do it again, I probably would have been better off choosing a different surgery for my problem.

Whatever your decision is, I pray it will be for the best. I will try to check back, hun, as I'm still worried about my friend.
Speaking of friends, does anyone know what happened to Dawn?

Lisa at least you have some news. As I can see a new doctors has explained it all well to you. Well that is good for starters. Give you body a chance and see how will it go, but if you see no benefit from that go with the surgery.
Wendy glad to hear from you again. How are you doing? It seams to me that you shouldn't be having menopause yet.

Hi Wendy! I'm so sorry to hear about those medical problems with you as well... Menopause? So early? Ugh.... sometimes I think I am going through that... sometimes I will go 45 days without a period but I think mine is all do to stress and all of these surgeries I've gone through... I pray for you as well.... all the time... and Dawn and Dr. Red... I hope you are doing better otherwise... How is your butt doing? LOL... Is it finally healed? I need to ask you something? Are you going to get your skin tags removed? I have developed some also but I don't want to do anymore surgery unless its absolutely necessary... Just wondering if you did or was going to get yours removed? Hugs to you.. :-D

Dr. Red... yes I'm glad I saw a 2nd opionion doctor, he is Board Certified rectal surgeon. He kinda looked upset that the other doc I had, had given me a fissurectomy (well they don't call it that anymore) before he did the botox injection... I guess the fissurectomy is the last resort a person should have to go through. He didn't say but my mother went in the room with me and could just see the look on his face... I'm going to try to deal with this for a few weeks longer to see if it can heal on its own. Have you ever heard of a botox injection for the sphinter muscle before? I guess somehow it paralizes and numbs the sphinter muscle and allows a fissure to heal itself. I don't really have the access to research this info because I'm using my mom's computer. Ours is not hooked up yet. If you have any extra time, could you look this up for me???? Let me know if you've heard of it before? Jeez, I thought botox was for wrinkes? Well while he's down there, he could get rid of some of those dimples.. Ha ha.. on my butt... LOL I guess this doc says the side effects is the same as the fissurectomy I had, which is incontinence... I really never had that with the second surgery, just a couple of times when I took too many laxatives... so I guess this could be permanent with the botox surgery? I don't know anything! I don't want to go around wearing a diaper the rest of my life.. sheesh, I'm not even 40 yet! Ok, hugs to you, hope you are doing ok? :-D

WOW!!! And I thought I was having a bad time! Poor kiddo Lisa!! :'( Always listen to yourself Lisa, if you feel you need to wait, then you wait!!!! Have they ever mentioned giving you Lasic for your BM's It can be administered either orally or by IV and gets rid of ALL your water in your body and anything that is backed up! It causes loose stools too, and I think this would be a better alternative for you! Obviously there is far too much bearing down and compaction. Also There is such a thing as a Vaginal/Rectal surgeon, as we have talked before, we had trauma with our births and this can put us at risk of not healing well. Check into that too!

Wendy - How are you hon? - I've been in premenopause since I was 39!!! So you can get it as early as 35, there is Pre Menopause, Peri menopause, Menopause and then Post Menopause - that is why I know that God is a man!!! PLUS in each of the stages the word "MEN" is prevelant!!!

I've been having a rough time actually, I think I told you guys I was diagnosed with a rare syndrome - well it turns out it is so rare that I m 1 in 500,000!!!!!!!!!!! And last week I found out I might need chemotherapy along with surgery to try and stop so much cancer from spreading! It can lower my life expectancy and I and my boys are VERY vunerable to different things!!! We were researched by some top doctors of Western Canada and some were from Europe and Russia - to check on us and interview us!!!!! Then now a scientist wants to get together with me and study me!!!!!!! %-) Then On Wednesday I had my other skin cancer surgery!!! I look like Frankenstein!!! I swear!! I have one big scar across my head and now one from the top of my eyebrow vertically uptowards my hairline! My eye is every color of the rainbow and swollen and I have sinus pain and a bleeding nose!!!!! So I'm looking ravishing!!!! I am COMPLETELY and utterly fed up!!! I have just sat here and cried my eyes out on and off - I'm sure you know how I feel!!! It's like "I'm a bloody good person, why do I keep getting all this c**p?" I know that the bible says God will only give us what we can handle, but there are SO many evil people in this world how come they don't get ALL of this too! My girlfriends husband called me "Jobe" the other day! And I have to agree! ENOUGH!!!

On a ligther note, Lisa think of it this way - your bum will ALWAYS look younger than the rest of you!!!!! o.O 8-| XD
