I am 44 years old. I had my right ovary removed at the age of 18. I had my first child, then a miscarriage, and then my second child. I had a tubiligation 15 years ago. I have never missed a period although after several months of coming at the same time it may come at a different time during a month. I am now 3 weeks late. Could this be early menopause? or something else?

It is a little discussed fact that most women can expect to skip their periods from time to time--it sounds like you may just be stressed and that's what caused it to skip. If you don't have your period for three months then there's cause for concern, but until that point, chalk it up to stress. What do you think?

Thanks for the input healthnfitnessguy but no stress right now. I have been in stressed situations before that would be beyond your belief and never missed a period. So I don't think I will chalk it up to stress. But, thanks anyway.
