Hi All.
I'm 44 and have lived all of my adult life with cysts on my ovaries. I thought I was going into menopause when my periods started getting lighter but suddenly the last three months the flow has been very heavy and pain throughout the bleeding period. This month the pain goes all the way into my kidney. The only thing that gives me a break from the pain is Excedrin Migraine medicine. My question is: is this all normal for this "time of my life" or could their be other more serious problems. PS. I have as of yet not missed a period. Mom went into menopause at 38, my older sister at 40 and my younger sister is 42 and is going through it now.
