Hi, I'm 20 years old and I have a problem with my testicles. Few days ago I have noticed a few lumps on the both of my testicles mostly on the outside and in the back side of the both of them. Lumps seem to be equally dispersed on the surface of the testicle. When I apply pressure to these lumps they sting a little but it is not that painful. I am sexually active and have been with more than 3 girls in the past month. Could I have contracted a sexually transmitted disease, what should I do?

Painful lumps on the testicles can be a sign of many conditions and STD’s are one of the most frequent ones. The first thing you should do is carefully try to check the inside side of your testicles by putting fingers between them. Testicular cancer is rare but it does happen and it is very dangerous if it does happen. Other conditions are urinal system inflammations that have spread to your testicles. Also you could have Chlamydia or gonorrhea but it is very unlikely since those diseases have to be in a more advanced stage to show their symptoms on the testicles, if you didn’t notice any other symptoms but those on the testicles it is unlikely that we are talking about those diseases. You didn’t mention if you have any pain while ejaculating or urinating, or any other problem that may be related to any of the STD’s so I won’t be free enough to make any kind of premature diagnoses in this case. You should talk to your doctor about this matter and see what he or she’s got to say about all of this. Good luck.
