Clonidine helped me with methadone withdrawals, but nothing will make you comfortable but blood pressure is important and clonidine is a blod pressure pill with a mild seditive to keep you calm also. I tried it using alot of benadryl to sleep and the clonidine and occasional .5 xanax. I relasped after going through all of that because I had no energy. i donr think I waited it out long enough though and also my husband was continuing tio use methadonr in front of me. I am now 5 days off of methadone and trying suboxone. I still dont feel great but not at all like I did when I did it the first time. Good luck, yes get you some kind of seditive.
