what type of intercourse anal, vaginal? normally one thinks of loosing ones virginity once they have had sex as in intercourse. but there is a lot of conflict regarding virginity. a lot of people go by if the girl breaks her hymen. however some girls dont have much of a hymen to begin with and when they have sex it doesnt break, or their hymen gets broke from vigorous exercise, masturbation or use of tampons. so this is an unreliable source. hope this makes some sence and helps ease your worries a little.

By the textbook definition, you are a virgin until your vagina has been penetrated by an erect human penis, or (if a male) your penis has entered a vagina while erect.

Did his penis enter you? Was it in your vagina?



If so, did he ejaculate in you? Was he wearing a condom?



What about the experience is bothering you so much that you are unable to sleep? Did you make the choice with him to take the step to have sex, or do you feel like it was something you "had" to do?

well i am 18 !!
and the thing is that i am not able to sleep because if i am not a virgin !!! oh i am sooo dead !! %-) it was my choice it's not like we discussed it before noo !! it just happened !! but i didn't bleed !! that is y i think that i may still have a chance ! and it wasn't hurtful at all !!

You don't need to be ashamed at all. First - no one can tell if you are a virgin or not..unless YOU choose to tell them! Bleeding or not doesn't chance the fact that you chose to have sex - that is the only determining factor if you are a virgin or not.

Why do you say that you are "so dead" if you are no longer a virgin? If the person you had sex with is someone you trust, and care about - and you both felt the moment was right...then I think you should enjoy it!!!! No one needs to know what happened besides the two of you.

You might feel lots of anxieties, especially the first time you have sexual intercourse ('having sex'). You may feel embarrassed about how you look without your clothes on, or worried about your privacy being disturbed. It's natural to worry, but good communication can really help. You should be able to talk to your partner about your concerns and how you feel about you having sex. Your partner might be worried too, and talking can really ease the tension. If you're too shy, or you're not able to talk about these things with your partner, then you probably shouldn't have had sex, but I understand it was in the heat of the moment and no one is perfect! Just try and calm down. I think you will not have a problem if you calm down. Walking around like you are worried or anxious all the time might raise some red flags to people. So unless you tell anyone I think you will be just fine. As long as they do not check for those sorts of things on a regular doctors visit. I do not know how other places work, but I have never heard of this. Please just take a deep breathe. I wouldn't want anything to happen because you got caught up in the moment. What you do with you body is up to you. Personally I think you should wait until marriage and all that, but I failed at that task. More than once so you are not alone. Thankfully my slip up was with the guy I was gonna marry.

Now for the bleeding:

The bleeding usually occurs because the girl has a hymen which breaks the first time she has sexual intercourse.
