I am 37 years old. Had a tummy tuck a year ago. Found out that I am 5 weeks prego. Now because I am over 35 I was giving an option of having an amniocentesis (a procedure where they insert a needle to take some fluid to make sure the baby is healthy)... I read everything about getting pregnant after a Tummy Tuck, but I am concern about doing this procedure... have anyone done an amniocentesis while pregnant after a Tummy Tuck...

Yes and it was scary. The needle went In slowly then I felt a deep hard puncture. I felt cramps and then it was over. The deep hard puncture was the need getting pass the tight muscle walls. However it wasn't horrible.
