I've been having recurring yeast infections. I'm on birth control and I can usually pinpoint when I'm going to get one. I haven't gotten it looked at, so it very well could be something else. I usually begin to itch around my clit and sometimes my vaginal opening. There's a lot of odorless, thick, white discharge and I have smegma around my clitoral hood. Are recurrent yeast infection common? Or should I be worried about any sort of STD? This has been happening since late June, which was around the last time I had a sexual partner. I don't notice any bumps or warts and it doesn't burn when I pee. The 'outbreaks' of itch usually last a few days and then it's done, until 1.5 weeks before my next period. This last time, I did notice between my clitoral hood and hairline, the skin was a little raw. I figured this was from the constant scratching. I used to have a little feminine itch before every period, usually 1.5 weeks before, but it's progressed into this and I don't know what to do about it.
