Every time I have sex with my boyfriend of 2 years, I get a bacteria infection. When I take Metronidazole, it is cleared up. He is my only sexual partner. I don't understand why I keep getting these. I don't know what to do. I feel like I always have a bacteria infection and taking the medication to clear it up. Could there be an underlying problem of why I continue to get this?

I too have this problem, not sure if it is because of my diabetes or what. My boyfriend has been checked for STD's and was told that men do not carry bacteria infection simply because its not an STD so....? At a lost.
