i hade my first dose 100mg on tuesday evening for pain as i have adenomyosis and waiting for surgery ,could not sleep ,heart pulpitations ,then the next morning i had muscle weakness,vomiting ,dizziness it was really scary have not experiecienced anything like it thought i was going to die.

I was prescribed Tradol (Tramadol) for the after effects of a lumbar puncture and I will never ever take this drug again!
I took 2 x 50 mgs at 10 p.m. last night and having slept most of the day it is now 6 p.m. and I still feel horrific; nausea, extreme fatigue and chest pains.

I TOOK ONE TRAMADOL 50 MG. AND I FELT VERY DIZZY, LIGHTHEADED, AND WABBLY.. I am never taking tramadol again. I JUST TOOK ONE AND I FEEL AWFUL. I JUST WANT TO KNOW HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR THIS EFFECT FROM TRAMADOL LAST. HELP.

I have been taking 2-3 50mg tablets 2 times a day since last Thursday and well I think i'm allergic to them because my legs are really swollen and my legs have never swell up from medicine. And my whole body is itchy and it didn't start until I started taking this medicine!! Could this be it???

I was prescribed a 100mg. I took it at 4:00 pm, , it made me like a zombie, did not want to do a think, laid down and stared at the wall. I went to bed around 10:00 pm, I wasn't tired I was now wide awake, I was up all night with insomnia. Couldn't drive the car th next day, I work out of town had to get a family member to drive me then he had to come back and get me. I also had problems with urinating, I was awake a 4:00 am went to the bathroom then, didn't have the urge but managed to urinate, did not urinate again until 1:30 pm. I had severe abdominal pain. Threw up a few times in teh morning, couldn't go home sick, as I didn't have my car, also very irritable, and emotional, shaking, I can guarantee I won't take another drug from this manufacturer or that is of this class. I can take the old class of drugs, tylenol with codeine, percacet, old class of muscle relaxers. I was prescribed this as I am in severe pain from my back.

I've had ALL the same symptoms! The crazy weird nightmares, I mean bad ones, the sweating, vomiting awfully for hours and I've also had the rashes as well.... UGH!

I've tried to give it a chance but it doesn't get better. Percocet was MUCH easier on me and this is a 'nonnarcotic' med. The vomiting is awful. It is constant, every hour or 2 and won't let up even with dry heaves for hours. The deep retching from the dry heaves has made all my muscles in my back ache from the straining. I am vomiting sour sour bile or something. My stomach just seems to keep producing it, and I throw it up to the heaves and a bit later it starts over....more sour acid then dry heaves. UGH this stuff is wicked!

Hi Judi, I was prescribed 100mg Tramadol for 2 wks, for back pain, then 200 for 2 wks, then 300mg and I took 1 dose of the 300mg and I've been itching all over and it won't stop, wven with Benedryl and the ointment. I'm going crazy. Also, keep getting hot sweats every few minutes. Any suggestions? Thanks.
