I had three hemorrhoid banded on Monday at 3pm. One of the three was very large and the dr and nurse giggled and said they never saw one that big! The first 48 hours after was the most pain I have ever had in my life, by far!! The pain meds (Oxy) did nothing at all!!The pain has lessened now as I am 72 hours and also could help I'm adding Tylenol extra strength with oxy, but two of the three are constantly hanging out, causing serious discomfort. Before the procedure I use to push them back up and that would relieve pain, that is no longer an option as one they won't go back up and two I was told to leave them alone! Starting to get concerned after reading some people's experiences of it lasting over 2-3 weeks. looking for that light at the end of the tunnel, but so far it's very bleak.. the last two things I'll say is if I had read these forums before I would have never got it done and two it be nice to hear back from people who said there's no end in sight for pain after 3-4 days, if they could come back on maybe a month later and say yes best decision I'm hemorrhoid free now, that would ease a lot of people's worries. Thanks everyone and good luck !!

I think you need to push it back up. Use some Vaseline and definitely push it back. It will result in less pain because when they are outside they become enlarged, painful and can become thrombosed

Foo on that doctor and nurse for giggling. I think that is unprofessional.
