My grandfather is 67 years old and it seems to me that he would rather die than go to a doctor. He has this abnormal thought that once he gets in the hospital, he will never go out! He has been having problem with urinating recently and I know that it pains him and that pain is there, in abdomen, even when he is not in the bathroom. What should I do? Does he have bladder stones or something else?

I do not think that bladder stones are your main problem. Getting your grandfather to hospital is. You can make him give you his urine sample. That would be a start. Results can tell you a lot about his condition (infection or stones). Ask him if there is blood in his urine, but be aware that he might lie, if he thinks that it will save from the hospital. You do realize that at one point, you must take him to a hospital, even if you have to drag him there.
