I am 54 and my last period was Oct of 2001. I started a period Dec 20th, 2006 and it won't quit. It is Feb 18th. It seems to get heavier every week. I just went back on estrogen after being off it for 10 months. Do you think I need to go back to my GP? Thanks, otoene@hotmail.com

I'm 45 yrs old and my period hasn't been around for 3 yrs and to start up like this? I'm like ok what started it and why is this happening to me?
So I thought ok the body is an organ that functions, so when is it going to let me in on gag, the brain thinking strategy is going one way and I'm going the other way.
I know where I stand, my stress level has been through the roof and if my body thinks its ready for a baby, OMG this shouldn't be happening.
My husband doesn't want kids, he's too old he says (47 yrs old).
Because I haven't had a straight period, off and on 3 yrs ago, 2 yrs ago and 1 yr ago nothing, 3 was totally here and there and then nothing, 2 was on and then gone and 1 nothing.
So this is utterly stupid, and I know if your man is well endowed and he hits your uterus or he's thrusting to deeply this can also cause bleeding and cramping awhole lot too.
So be patient, test in 7 to 10 days, you will have a better postivie reading, if not seek medical from your own GP.
