I am still bleeding and having slight bt often sharp cramping mostly on the right side of lower abdomen. my vagina also feels like diffrnt, may b a bit swollen. are all these things normal? im very tensed. I talkd to my doctor, but she did not give me a specific answer and said that heavy bleeding is no good thing. it is only making me more tensed. when shall i go back to my normal cycle? do i need to do any surgery to stop this bleeding?pls help.

What you are experiencing is normal and your body is going through a slow process of healing. The cramping on the right side will take a couple days to go away, to help with pain take tylenol. When you had the procedure, they had to dilate your cervix, so feeling swollen is part of the process. Your vagina feels different as you had surgery. Your body thinks that you are still pregnant and it takes a month to go back to your regular cycle. You will heal and don't need surgery, its the aftermath of the abortion.
