I am 42 and for the last 3 months once my period has stopped, 6 days later I get another one only this time it is just a very light flow, the first time it went until my next period, then the last two times it went for about 5 days. Before this "in between" bleeding occurs, I get the usual pre period symptoms, could this be the start of menopause or something more sinister?
