before each of my periods i am bleeding brown, after about 1 full day of brown i go through about 5 days of regualr blood. At the end of each of my periods i go back to brown. the brown usually last no more than a total of 2 days. Can somebody please let me know what the problem could be and what i shoul do.

I am almost always the same when I get my period.
I asked my doctor, and it's normal. The blood is brown because it's been exposed to oxygen, and is older. The brighter the red the fresher the part of the lining is. It's normal to have red or brown blood. There is nothing wrong wtih you. :-)
